At 2:17 a.m., my bedroom door opened.
Rebecca entered, but she wasn’t alone.
An unfamiliar man followed her, carrying a medical bag.
When I saw what they did beside my bed, my hands began trembling.
But the most terrifying part was what the man said.
“Rebecca, does your mother-in-law still not know what really happened that night?”
My daughter-in-law began crying.
“No. And please, don’t tell Michael anything either.”
