Panettiere was cast as Claire Bennet in NBC’s Heroes, portraying a teenage cheerleader who discovers she possesses extraordinary regenerative abilities. The character quickly became one of the show’s most recognizable figures, helping make Panettiere one of television’s biggest young stars.

Another career-defining role followed in 2012 when she joined Nashville as Juliette Barnes. Her portrayal of the ambitious and emotionally complicated country singer demonstrated how successfully she had transitioned from child star to adult performer. She remained with the series throughout its six-season run and earned two Golden Globe nominations for her performance.
