When Kevin entered the world weighing an astonishing 7 kilos, there was little chance his birth would go unnoticed. Nurses and hospital staff were amazed by the newborn’s extraordinary size, and before long, his unusual arrival became the kind of story people couldn’t stop talking about.
Even some of the most ordinary parts of caring for a newborn suddenly became complicated. Standard baby clothes could be too small, certain diapers didn’t fit comfortably, and equipment designed for an average-sized newborn wasn’t always suitable…
