Rap musician and mogul Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs has been cleared of racketeering and sex trafficking but found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution, after a seven-week trial in New York.<\/p>\n

These charges are separate to a spate of civil lawsuits brought by dozens of women, many of which are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

Here is how the allegations against Combs have stacked up, and how the court case played out.<\/p>\n

Cassie Ventura and Sean Combs were in an on-off relationship from 2007 to 2018<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In a civil lawsuit, singer and model Casandra Ventura, known as Cassie, alleged he set up a \u201cmanipulative and coercive romantic and sexual relationship\u201d, during which he \u201cregularly beat and kicked Ms Ventura, leaving black eyes, bruises, and blood\u201d.<\/p>\n

She described parties known as \u201cfreak offs\u201d \u2013 drug-fuelled, days-long sexual performances \u2013 which Combs allegedly coerced women into, and filmed for his own pleasure.<\/p>\n

Ms Ventura also accused the musician of sexual abuse and rape, and claimed that many of these incidents were witnessed by his \u201ctremendously loyal network\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Combs strenuously denied the allegations and accused Ms Ventura of extortion. They settled the case for an undisclosed amount a day after it was filed in New York.<\/p>\n

November to December 2023: More lawsuits allege sexual assault<\/h2>\n

In the weeks after settling Cassie\u2019s lawsuit, Combs was accused of sexual assault dating back to 1991 by multiple women.<\/p>\n

These included allegations of sexual coercion, the rape of a 16-year-old girl and unauthorised filming.<\/p>\n

Combs denied all the allegations, and his spokesperson called them a \u201cmoney grab\u201d.<\/p>\n

Another woman sued in December, claiming she was \u201csex trafficked\u201d and \u201cgang raped\u201d.<\/p>\n
