She found the pilot’s logbook on the floor, open to a torn page.
On the final page was a sentence written in trembling handwriting:
“The ocean is not empty.”
Directly beneath it:
“They say we arrived before we left.”
A chill ran down Layan’s spine.
In the corner of the cockpit, the team found an old video camera.
The tape inside was still intact.
