"Longer than this hotel."

"Can it leave?"

"It doesn't need to."

Jack demanded answers.

The manager finally confessed.

Room 307 chose someone.

Not to kill.

To replace.

The creature inside the mirror could never cross into the real world unless someone willingly entered the room.

Once that happened...

The reflection and the person slowly exchanged places.

It usually took three nights.

Jack laughed nervously.

"That's impossible."

The manager simply pointed toward the mirror hanging behind the reception desk.

Jack looked.

His reflection smiled.

He wasn't smiling.
