Part Three: A Marriage I Couldn’t Explain
The wedding was intimate and beautiful.
Rosie wore a simple white gown with tiny embroidered flowers along the sleeves. As she walked down the aisle, Ben began to cry.
His expression was not proud or performative.
It was full of wonder.
My father placed Rosie’s hand into Ben’s and later congratulated him with a firm pat on the shoulder.
